Your Fire Safety Obligations
📋 Annual Self-Assessment
Under the BC Fire Safety Act, building owners must conduct annual fire safety assessments. This includes checking fire extinguishers, exit routes, alarm systems, and more.
📁 Document Requirements
Maintain and upload current inspection reports for fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and other fire protection equipment as required by the BC Fire Code.
⚠️ Compliance Deadlines
Self-assessments are due annually. Fire Inspector Orders must be complied with by the specified deadline. Late compliance may result in penalties.
